Well, I made it. It wasn't really my first concert in 18 years but close enough, and thoroughly enjoyable.
The show was at a small church in Metuchen, New Jersey, sponsered by a local independent bookstore, the Raconteur. When I bought the ticket, the guy on the phone was really nice (at first there was a 2 ticket minumum, so I said "Ok, give me two." He said "do you need two?" I said "NO"., so he let me buy just one.) Anyway, it was definately a great opportunity... MORE
