We were just pondering the meaning of the term 'Ministry' in the religious context when I suddenly remembered the excellent Ministry albums inherited from AEDJP when he decided to....... First time I heard this song I was standing in the Virgin Megastore, in Brighton, UK (when it was located at the Hove end, pre-mall days). It sent shivers up and down my spine at the time, and still does. Considering the circumstances of the fallout over Don Imus's comments about the Rutger womens basketball team, it looks like Al Sharpton, and possibly, Jesse Jackson, are going to take on all rap/hip-hop artists, whose lyrics consist of demeaning/degrading women, labeling them as bitches, ho's, sluts and whatever else that could be possibly thought of. I was watching IFC (Independent Film Channel) where, Henry Rollins hosts his own tv show. He said some things I could never imagine anyone really having the balls to say on television....especially after what happened when the Dixie Chicks spoke out on the president. I need to watch his show more often. I like what he had to say.
