Mineral caught a lot of criticism in their day for sounding too much like Sunny Day Real Estate, but I have always enjoyed their two full-lengths - 'The Power of Failing' and 'EndSerenading'. The first album, 'The Power of Failing', had some songs that I found to be truly inspirational when I was starting out as a guitarist.
