In the 80's the best zine was Kick Ass. In the 90's it was Black To Comm. The zine is long gone (but you can still get some back issues) but it lives on as a blog. I sent them a copy of Mighty High...In Drug City when I ordered some stuff but never figured it would make the cut for a review. I was wrong! Check it out -http://black2com.blogspot.com/2008/08/mighty-high.html
This reviewer seems to be mad at us for not being Lou Reed. He still gave it 3 out of 5 beers so that's cool. IN DRUG CITY - Mighty High (Mint Deluxe Tapes)I like the way it kicks off - guitar riff, bass & drums kick in, then vox "I'm ready to testify, I feel it down in my soul." Hey, neat! "Cos I been smoking angel dust, And now I'm outa control." Oh dear.Fucking hell, even I feel a bit embarasse
http://www.headheritage.co.uk/addressdrudion/109/2008/ What with Sir Lord Baltimore unexpectedly returning as a Christian band (Gor Lummie) and the Stooges manifesting as a Madonna-bumming post-Hives power pop combo for their comeback, it's good to see that Brooklyn's Mighty High is still flying the flag for sheer adrenalin'n'drug-fuelled hard rock. Their debut album MIGHTY HIGH IN DRUG CITY ef...

We recorded our show at Trash in Brooklyn on 4/25/09 on a digital recorder and also through the soundboard. Our personal baker Chef Vin Jovi mixed the two sources together under the influence of hashish the other night. The quality is still pretty rough and there's tons of mistakes, but if you want a sneak peak at some of our new jams and relive some old favorites, feel free to download this Hi...

And Hoboken has never been the same since the Thor vs Mighty High battle in July '05.This years show might be the best one yet. We'll be sharing the stage with other great local bands like Planeside...

I set up an account here because we have a few fans here. For the life of me I can't figure out how to create an artist account so I can upload album art, bio, etc.
You can listen to the entire record at our page on Last FM. If you like what you hear pick up a copy from Amazon, Itunes, CD Baby or Interpunk (they have the cheapest price right now).http://www.last.fm/music/Mighty+High/...In+Drug+City
