I'm not sure why this hasn't received more radio play, but the music business is tough too figure out. Clearly one of the better songs of the summer to date. Hard not to laugh when you hear this for the first time.I'm kinda impressed by Avalon. I thought he was just another Hollywood club kid with little to no talent...but not now. Hope you like it!!

Mickey Avalon is my new dirty white rapper obsession. The ladies really do love him, just check out his Myspace page . According to his lyrics he's a former boy prostitute for sexy LA debutantes and that's where he gets his material. The funniest line yet " Mickey Avalon, the kosher salami. For $20 you get Chachi but $40 get's you Fonzie"
I don’t get a lot of MOGmail so when I saw the alert in my yahoo inbox that I’d gotten MOGmail from Interscope records, I didn’t check it right away. I figured it was spam of some sort, that MOG had been infiltrated. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I’d been asked if I’d like to interview Mickey Avalon.Still suspicious of the very spartan Interscope MOG page, I decided to get ahold of
Has anyone heard the song "Jane Fonda" by Mickey Avalon? Wow, is that catchy... check his MySpace page to listen...http://www.myspace.com/mickeyavalon.
In keeping with the anticipatory Monolith Festival posts, I have a confession to make: I think this song is hilarious. It's simple, kind of crude (but I think still radio-playable) and never terribly witty… but I still laugh every time. And if you can take the near torture, check out Margaret Cho's parody "My Puss" Cue [...]
I love Mickey to death. I mean, living in LA i've been watching him perform before he was famous. That being said, I'm glad he's doing his thing and getting out there in the public eye but I have mixed feelings about him being on that Boost Mobile commercial.I'm not saying that he sold out or anything because if anyone offered me money like that to do that I'd do it too. But that eye liner? So ...
Tom Greene had a house party / show filming thanksgiving weekend with Mickey Av as a guest. Totally woulda been there but I was grubbin on turkey and stuffing in mississippi (still working that off). So my friend went and they caught her crazy ass grinding with him on camera. I'd add the YouTube link but she made them take it off since they titled it "Jan is Horny" haha. good times. He's having ...

2 years and 8 months ago, a fledgling HRC wrote about her first Mickey Avalon show at Popscene. Since then, I’ve seen him three other times, with DJ AM (RIP), with Andre Legacy and Dirt Nasty, and with Beardo. I may be a mostly rock/metal/industrial chick, but truth be told I was raised [...]
It seems like yesterday- when myspace was in its heyday- that I got a friend request from Mickey Avalon. A skim of his page, a view of his mini-doc featuring Santino, and a quick listen turned me into a Mickey enthusiast then and there, and I spread the word to all my unsuspecting friends [...]
