Today I returned to my car, parked right on the main street of town, to find a cat sitting on the hood, with no intention of moving. To make a short story long, I've written out the tale for my blog, to be accompanied by this Michelle Shocked song. It's a favourite from the unique and special Texas Campfire Tapes, and of course it popped right into my head when I met a real hep cat in person.
