The Awakening will serve as Melissa Etheridge's return after a three year layoff. Between now and her last album Lucky in 2004, Etheridge has defeated breast cancer, which provides alot of inspiration and material for the new offering.

I finally got "An Inconvenient Truth" for Christmas, and watched it over my winter break. This video is from the movie, and, although I'm not a very big fan of Melissa Etheridge, I think the song is great for the movie and the music video is very compelling.
Give it a watch, especially if you don't know much about global warming and the climate crisis. You just might learn something new. You might just change the way you think.
