Blog post image preview I was very saddened to read this news tonight, as I've always felt that Mega City Four were disastrously unappreciated here in the U.S. and the tracks I've heard from his current band Ipanema sound really strong to me. The one time I got to see Wiz perform was with Mega City Four in 1992 (I think) "Posi-Vibes Tour" at The Metro in Chicago after Sebastopol Rd. came out. We learned, very sadly, that a big favorite & good friend passed away yesterday (12/6/06) of a brain tumor - Wiz - lead singer & rythym guitarist of the Mega City Four, and more recently, Ipanema.
