I had to get ready for a show tomorrow. I sat down and recorded some of the songs I haven't played for a long time. Had a song that's been sitting there for a year...........just couldn't figure out how to end it. I wrote the ending this morning. Shameless self-promotion.........I guess. Getting home from that weekend in California I had to do something. So.............I wrote a song called Indio. I'm working on recording the final version as we speak but I recorded a demo a few weeks ago. Click that little red button that some love and some hate. What can I say. I haven't posted any Coachella stories. Think the rest of the guys has done one hell of a job reporting everything that went down.Bottom line.............I wish you had all been there. On our drive from LA to Indio I had suggested that we'd all make a 3-song CD.......no rules.......just perfect songs for a drive to the desert. Everybody did good but one song really got to me. Been a long time since I've been recording a song. Today I recorded a demo.
Just me and my son's tiny guitar hiding out in the attic. It's kinda cold up here............but it's where I like to be.

To you this might be just another day but to me this is one fine and very special day. My EP has finally been mixed and mastered. I've been waiting for this! Ghost Hospital contains 7 songs. They were all written and recorded last year in a tiny room on a tiny farm in a tiny town. These are the first songs I've ever written. Hello friends of this dirty neighborhood. I posted a demo a few weeks ago and now I believe the song is done. As I mentioned the last time this song was inspired by a fellow mogger who wrote about The Cure and how many times she'd used this specific song for a mixtape. Since I've been doing several posts on Kristofer Åström I thought I might just keep on doing so.
This is a bit different though. I covered one of his songs some time ago. I haven't shared it with anyone. It was only meant for him. I am pretty sure he won't object to this.......who cares anyway. The sucker just have to get back on MOG to stop me.

Canada plays an important role in my escape plan!
I wrote a song about that last year not knowing that certain people in Canada would end up making my life better. These certain people manage to do that every single day.
The other day I thought about getting my EP mastered.....and I ended up asking a guy from Canada. It just seemed right.
It's a strange feeling being here thinking that my perfect home is all the way over there.
