Wow, fast, I wrote this review yesterday and it's already up at PopMatters. It concerns the lead singer from the Shangri-Las, backed by Greg Cartwright and the Reigning Sound, and it's good. Still it's kind of weird to hear a woman who's even older than I am singing girlgroup anthems about boyfriends and breakups...kind of a time capsule.
