it's not quite Monday yet here on the left coast...so here is my favorite red house painter, Mark Kozelek getting in touch with his inner Bon Scott on this cover of an AC/DC tune.
one of blair's many contributions to my music collection. he's from the band red house painters and sun kil moon, but in between those he recorded a couple of cds full of covers - mostly ac/dc. this is off the latter cd, "what's next to the moon"
Well, I bought this album for my kid. He's only 4, but he loves his tunes - every night he demands Brian Eno or David Sylvian for his sleepy-time tunes. And I'm disgusted. It's far too good to be an album just for little people. It's even got some of my favourite artists on it, Alan Sparhawk of Low, for instance and also Red House Painters/Sun Kil Moon genius Mark Kozelek.
