I found this post on LaLa.com and thought it was worth sharing. Recently buying a car with both a mp3 plug & satellite radio was the last nail in the coffin for hard cds for me. with all the satellite stations & the cheap downloads available ( yahoo $6.00 a month unlimited ) why bother with cds anymore. maybe thats why lala is headed in a different direction. with all new cars coming mp3 & satellite ready, and stores, restaurants, and whole city's going wifi, isn't it ju... Following in my "AZI" theme that started here, here's part 2.
Mechanical Animals is probably my favorite Manson album, with The Golden Age of Grotesque coming in a close second.
Antichrist Superstar is a great album, but it's just a bit too dark for repeated listening. MA, for me at least, was almost a polar opposite.
I didn't, and don't, pay much attention to the whole Alpha and Omega themes on MA, although it's pretty simple to tell which songs belong to which aspect.

ok, here’s an observation (that’s probably wrong since i live in the rock world)...
is mog full of only rock & rap fans or is there a country & western parallel sub-culture that i am not seeing?
I seee rockers who like some c&w, but i don't really see any kickers here... is that cause they don't like puters? or is there a MOGCountry.com :o)

God is just a statistic... Prolly my belief entirely... And one of the best lines in any song... I dunno bout anyone else, but from Mechanical Animals on Marilyn Manson got it right. I think the man is a musical genius. His songs are incredibly complex, the lyrics very intense, unique, original and they have all the energy anyone could as for. Plus the music is always progressive and bleeding edge. Everyone has to come up with a fave song from each of their bands.... MORE
