Brian Hugh Warner (January 5, 1969 – June 19, 2007), better known by his stage name Marilyn Manson, was a professional musician. He was the lead singer of the industrial metal band that bore the same name. His stage name was formed from the names Marilyn Monroe and Charles Manson, showing what he considered the ultimate and most disturbing dualism of American culture.

well, i have recently been thinking about mog, but can't seem to do it. shame on me. PETA released a worst dressed list, complete with insulting remarks about people who sport fur. Manson put on a great show last night in Hot-Lanta to a sold-out crowd. It was well worth the long drive down south and having to listen to the picketing Baptists with their big signs and megaphones blaring nonsense right outside the line to get inside. I was standing near the front of the stage and when he first came on I thought I was going to get crushed to death but I eventually wormed my way all the way to the front and was able to see MM and Twiggy much better as well a... Twiggy Ramirez, the artist who, with Marilyn Manson, co-wrote Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals, and Holywood is joining the fold once again. Ramirez will join Marilyn Manson, Chris Vrenna, Rob Holliday, and Ginger Fish for the US leg of their Rape of the World Tour this Spring.
According to a press release, "Tim Skold has amicably split with Manson, but future collaborations aren’t being ruled out between the two."

Marilyn Manson is countersuing his longtime collaborator/keyboardist Stephen Bier aka Madonna Wayne Gacy for breach of contract.
Bier filed a lawsuit last August seeking more than $20 million in salary and medical support. Bier noted that Manson used band profits to buy a mansion, pay for drug treatment, produce a movie, buy Nazi memorabilia and hold a fancy wedding, according to an AP report.

"I never really hated the one true God but the God of the people I hated". Now I don't rate Mr. Manson as a bard of any sort with respect to penning a lyric nor as a melodist of any great stature. But the staccato chop of the rhythm and bass guitars in this track, accompanied by lines such as this and Mr. Manson's usual bluster and energy raise this track into a virtual anthem for his target audience. Recently buying a car with both a mp3 plug & satellite radio was the last nail in the coffin for hard cds for me. with all the satellite stations & the cheap downloads available ( yahoo $6.00 a month unlimited ) why bother with cds anymore. maybe thats why lala is headed in a different direction. with all new cars coming mp3 & satellite ready, and stores, restaurants, and whole city's going wifi,... This is a 5th grade picture of Brian Warner, otherwise known as Marilyn Manson. I'm not a fan or anything, but this is what I know: Manson's real name is Brian Warner.
