A couple of missteps aside, Mariah Carey's co-penned "All I Want for Christmas Is You" is a well-crafted Phil Spector tribute, with Beach Boys-style harmonies, jangling bells, and sleigh-ride pace, injecting one of the few bits of exuberant fun in this Christmas album.

Mariah Carey 's 'Merry Christmas' Cd is one on the most essential chistmas albums in my opinion. She recently sung 'Please Come Home For Christmas' live at the Grammy Nominations party and well it's kinda fun. I enjoy them throwing out the presents LOL, but the ways Mariah sings it is nothing compared to the album version, her voice is not like it used to be!
