I thought Maria Taylor's solo debut, "11:11," was one of the best things to happen to music in 2005. I liked Azure Ray, her previous band, but nothing they recorded quite arrested all linear thought the way her solo stuff did. Great songs, really intimate lyrics and vocal style.
