On the heels of their great new "Angels of Destruction!" CD, Marah has . . . dropped all their US Tour dates. Accoding to a statement on the band's Web site: "Due to personal issues within the band, Marah have made the difficult decision to postpone their January and February US tour dates. Is anyone else digging this new single from Marah?
Some reviewers are dogging the new CD, but they also dogged "Float Away with the Friday Night Gods" which is a nice CD of power pop that people should give another chance.
They are great live and I will making every attempt to see them again at the 9:30 Club in DC this month.

I'm sitting in my living room, cup of coffee in hand, watching the season's first snow fall outside my window. I would be annoyed; Seattle doesn't handle snow well and I have things to _do_ today AND a Thermals show tonight.
