Manchester Orchestra ( great name btw ) is a five piece out of the suburbs of Atlanta , Georgia. I first caught these backwater indie darlings on the live broad cast from Coachella 2008 last month. The band is a moody kind of corn gazers with a good dose of brit rock to keep the swagger full and in view. I just feel sad that I couldn't go one of their concerts near me. It was depressing. These songs of theirs always give me the image of running in the forest not away from something, more towards.

I've recently heard much about this band named Manchester Orchestra via Rolling Stones Magazine and SPIN, so i decided to check out what the hype was all about. I went to the SPIN site, and they were featured as "Artist of the Day." If you like the indie sound, with some nice crunchy rock tones, go to SPIN.com and listen to the stream of "Wolves at Night"...you may just fall in love like I did.
