Madonna is apparently paying tribute to "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott by playing what sounds a lot like the main riff to Pantera's classic song "A New Level" during her May 10, 2008 performance at Radio One's Big Weekend at Mote Park in Maidstone, UK.

On the heels of her successful debut atop the Billboard 200 with Hard Candy, Madonna is heading out another world tour. The pop queen will be taking her private jet across Europe and the US at the end on the summer up through Thanksigving. Nothing can stop Madonna. The woman, as projected earlier last week, is Number One again on the Billboard Top 200 with her latest album Hard Candy. Her album sold 280,000 copies its debut week, crowning Madonna with her seventh Number One debut. Only Barbara Streisand has one up on Madonna with eight Number One debuts.

Billboard.com is reporting that the Mom and pop star is on the track to her 7th ever number one album debut on the Billboard Top 200. About a month ago, several music blogs were shut down (or outright deleted in some cases) due to illegal downloads of Mariah Carey's music. Def Jam took a very active role in sending out the message that they take action against any blogs offering free downloads.
Several blogs have suffered the same misfortune today as Madonna's new album Hard Candy leaked onto the web. A few sites known for offering free music are currently sleeping with the fishes.

I love Madonna. I have loved her since "Live A Virgin." I finally got to listen to her song, "4 Minutes (To Save The World)," a few night ago. At first I hated it, but then I started to like it. The video, on the other hand, sucks ass. Madonna can not dance. My friend, Erin, pointed this fact out to me years ago. I forgot about it. When I remarked, "This video sucks," Erin replied with, "that's because Madonna can't dance." It's okay though. I still love ya, Madonna.... MORE

On the heels of Madonna's inclusion in the Rock n' Roll Hall Of Fame(as previously reported) arrangements are being made to honor Madonna in the city where she grew up. Mayor Charles M. Brunner extended a formal invitation for the 49-year-old singer to accept a key to the city
Civic leaders in Bay City, Michigan are belated in bestowing the honor to the buxom blond popstar and it's unclear if she will accept the accolade.

Hot damn Madonna looks good at 50! I don't even want to know what deals with the devil she's made to look this good. Jaws will drop when people see her dancing next to young & dapper Justin Timberlake in her new vid for "4 Minutes" aka "4 Minutes To Save The World".
