Experimental electronica band Mum uploaded a brand new video today as they set off for their first US tour in three years! The video is "Rhubarbidoo" and it's way too short, clocking in at a mere 1:47, but it's still super adorable. The song is from the latest Mum release, Go Go Smear The Poison Ivy and the video was created by Jason Malcolm Brown and Aya Yamasaki, known collectively as Overt...
We know we're not supposed to speak of our preview copy of the new Múm record just yet, but it's important to know for the sake of this review that it's pretty darn great. Seeing the songs come to life onstage, however, apotheosizes Múm to an almost unacceptably enjoyable cloud.
Mum are in the midst of a European tour in support of Go Go Smear the Poison Ivy, with shows in Asia and Australia next. The band just announced that they will also play a handful of shows in the US in late April. At this time, the schedule includes 2 nights in NYC, Coachella, SF, 2 nights in Texas and one in Florida - essentially the 4 corners of the country.Mum US shows:04.22 New York, NY:...

And you do it together and learn a bit in the process, much to your annoyance. We went to see "Múm":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M%C3%BAm just for yucks.I was thoroughly wound like a rubber band by the time we clai..
Inspired by Hyman's post: http://mog.com/david_hyman/blog_post/89388 I've chosen to post a track by one of the bands rejected by our MOGfather.David..........if you're reading this. Don't ever do that again!Taken from wiki:múm (pronounced "moom"; in IPA, [muːm]) is an experimental Icelandic musical group whose music is characterized by soft vocals, electronic glitch beats and effects, and a var.
The fact that a show included in the Edinburgh Fringe was moved across to Glasgow was inconvenient in itself. But when your bus home collides with another, you begin to re-evaluate the evening you had. Was travelling all that way really worth what could have been something a hell of lot worse?Taking the show away [...]

From light to dark, this was a distinct progression of the earlier albums of Múm to Summer Makes Good. Finally after 3 years, the new Múm album is out! There is evidence of the layered and atmospheric style that is a signature of Múm despite the absence of the innocent vocals of Kristín Anna Valtýsdóttir.A glimpse of the new album is featured inthe BBC site with 2 clips of the Museum of Garden
