Lyle's last album was in 2003, the multi-Grammy nominated My Baby Don't Tolerate on Lost Highway Records. K.D. Lyle Lovett doesn't sound lost, he sounds LARGE. He just stepped off tour with KD Lang a mere week ago, previously recorded "Walk Hard" with Jewel, Ghostface Killa and Jackson Browne for the new movie with the same name, and spent the last year recording live in the studio with the Large Band. Father's Day is always a little bittersweet for those of us who have lost their dad. When I was younger, I think the song that spoke most to our relationship was Bruce Springsteen's Independence Day. I think it was like that for most sons and their fathers. Often a battle to understand each other. As I matured, so did our relationship.
