One of my favourite pop songs of the year has had the DFA Remix treatment. Yes, Tim Goldsworthy has morphed Swedish pop sex kitten Lykke Li's breakthrough single 'Little Bit' into a nine and a half minute floor filler. Pretty good it is too. Download link below. Lykke Li's hiccuping voice sounds like a four-year old singing along to the radio. Yet, on debut single Little Bit, the Swede tells a dark and disturbing tale. This is one pop record that's strictly not for the kiddies. Little Bit is very film noir. It touches on obsessive love, sex, and murder. Lykke Li has a lovable new song up on RCRD LBL today, called "Dance Dance Dance." It's hard not to like this lighthearted song with its lullaby lilt. The triple D is from Youth Novels. You can actually download it for FREE on RCRD LBL right now. The lovely Swedish lass will be in Philly May 6th to kick off her US tour. Lykke Li - a young swedish girl with parents also known in the music business from the late 1970's and the beginning of the 1980's... I really like this video and especially the wonderful dancers... I get a good sundayfeeling when I look at it!

Lykke Li... OMG !!! Another one I've been meaning to share for a long while now. Again, an album which hasn't seen US release yet, but I do believe the distro has been worked out for some time this summer... if I am not mistaken an EP may hit the US before that as an introduction to this crazy awesome Swede... I love this chick!! She is from Sweden. Her name is pronounced kinda like "likely" and her debut album "Youth Novel" was produced by Björn of Peter, Björn and John. Her voice sounds, ahem, a "little bit" like Stina Nordenstam.

I saw the video for this song yesterday on youtube and it has been stuck in my mind ever since. it is simple, catchy, a bit sexy and completely describes the relationship that i am in right now with someone i probably shouldn't be involved with.

It's not really encouraging to download a remix by someone whom your first visual acquaintance with is experienced though a promo photo that looks like it's been stylized with a blurry effect using a 3rd party plug-in for Windows Paint - let alone the photo itself being a close up that vividly implies the next few seconds after it was taken involved a cum facial.
Still, i love Lykke Li & knowing how remixable 'Little Bit ' is - I decided to take a chance & obviously sin... MORE
