Oh I've struck gold. Thank you internet! This is (I think) my 8th post on Luke Vibert and related things. The guy is just so crazy awesome. I just found this fan site that has a ton of really great tracks uploaded. There's a 52 minute live mix, two different John Peel Sessions shows, rare compilation tracks, outtakes, and an EP. I felt like candy in a kid store when I found this today. T...

Not yet fully committed to a return to MOG, young Oatmeal returned from the wilderness to say only a few words about rebirth and acid synth lines. Stay tuned...

Freshly pressed on wax is his newest album _Chicago, Detroit, Redruth_. This album doesn't fail to please. It's almost a tribute or a kitch reworking of the core elements of Detroit techno and Chicago house. Imagine if you took Richie Hawtin, Carl...
Late night madness here. Electronic oddities and exotic word-play for your late night pleasure. The tracks are mis labeled in spots - so far I have only caught the second one Four Tet remixed by Sa-Ra
Luke Vibert is nothing if not consistent and prolific. Sometimes it is amazing how he gets such different moods from a sound palette which does not vary a whole lot. Here is a song off a recent 12" for Planet Mu. All the signature LV sounds are in it. Seems to have a bit of a twist too. The opening has a moogish, wendy carlos/clockwork orange kind of feel to it.Enjoy
