All Music GuideMCA Special Products' Hey Good Lookin' is a budget-priced collection that collects ten duets (eight on cassette), all culled from the duo's heyday. Surprisingly, there aren't all that many hits on the record -- in fact, the two hits, "As Soon As I Hang Up the Phone (The Telephone Song)" and "It's True Love, " are only available as bonus cuts on the CD -- but all of the music is enjoyable, even when it's not transcendent. Nevertheless, its purpose is a little puzzling. Casual fans, whom this collection is most certainly targeted at, will want the hits, which are generally not on this disc, and collectors will prefer the original albums. Still, as a budget-priced sampler, Hey Good Lookin' is good lookin'.
