Lorelei did the loud guitar effects thing around the same time as drop nineteens and swervedriver. I think I'd romanticized this from early 90's mix tape days a bit so when i finally found it again this weekend it was excitement followed by a bit of disappointment. The opening minutes of "The sky is falling" are still pretty hot after all these years. I'll save that track!!!
