It wasn't until I saw this band was coming to Indy that I'd even thought of them for a while. It wasn't until I thought of them that I realized they put an album out this year. It wasn't until I listened to the album that I realized how much I've missed this band and their music. Just thought you might need a reminder too.
I guess it's Sunday, and there is a little standing tradition of posting cover songs today. I figure that's a good excuse to share a song that I've really enjoyed listening to recently. Local H covers TV on the Radio.
I got Local H's "As Good As Dead" as freebie from a rep when I was an Assistant Manager at Coconuts back in the day. I didn't know much about them, but eventually they started to get some play on rock radio with "Bound for the Floor". They had a good little run, but never seemed to get as popular as they should have.
Even today this album holds up and I listen to it on a regular basis.

Ok so this week I dug into the hard drive and listened to some Local H. 2 guys drum and guitar only. Loud as hell though. The cd I got hopoked on is call "Pack up the cats" After several listens I decided this is how music should be. All the songs add up to a real listening experience. Sure they are good alone but together they make a perfect album. It flows so well and the pieces fit so nicely from start to finish. Listen to it and see. This got me thinking that maybe I t...
