Last night's show turned out to be about as crazy as I expected. By the time that my friend and I arrived at Concord, Zion I had already played. Right after we bought our tickets and got in, Del The Funkee Homosapien began his half-hour set, which consisted of two Heiroglyphics songs and his solo stuff including songs off of his new album out in September. Underground hip-hop is getting its own touring festival this summer. Living Legends, Sage Francis, Brother Ali, Felt (featuring members of Living Legends and Atmosphere), Cage, Mr. Lif, Grouch & Eligh, Hangar 18, Blueprint and Lucky I Am round out the first bill of the Paid Dues Independent Hip-Hop touring festival.
