Mick Jagger was in Los Angeles during the overdubbing/mixing stage of Exile on Main St. One story goes that a go-fer asked him if there was anything he'd like. He requested the self-titled debut album by Little Feat. The go-fer had no idea who they were. Jagger was a bit nonplussed, after all, Little Feat was a band from Los Angeles. Then again, their debut album hadn't actually been a big seller.
