All Music GuideAnother great grab bag of hideously rare Link, all from the '60s on this volume, including tracks that Wray issued under his own name, and side projects that he lent his guitar to (by the Fender Benders, Moon Men, and Bunker Hill). "Baby Doll" and "Please Please Me" are surprisingly cool fusions of Wray raunch with Merseybeat; the primitive late-'60s recordings from the rare Yesterday & Today LP were some of his most menacing cuts ever. On the lighter side are the hot rod-flavored instros by the Fender Benders, and the wild R&B/rock outings of Bunker Hill, a singer who Link backed who made Little Richard sound like Ricky Nelson.
