Ladies and gentlemen, I'm not even a huge Lil' Wayne fan, but this is just a great fuckin' song.
I can see Wayne falling into that category of "I don't like him, but I like his music" for me. From the couple interviews I've seen, and the little I know about him, dude just rubs me the wrong way. But, the kid has come a long way. I'll give him that. And the little fucker's got a swagger. Gotta respect that. I even like the video.

Although Lil' Wayne released The Dedication 3 last week, today marks the release of another mixtape, The Drought Is Over Part Six: The Reincarnation. It's pretty obvious that Weezy doesn't fear overexposure and why should he? If you haven't noticed yuppies, 2008 has been the year of Weezy and he's shown zero signs of slowing down. Wayne is following in the footsteps of Nas and choosing a childhood photo as the cover of his new album "The Carter III". While Nas took a more traditional approach, Wayne's baby picture is digitally altered with tattooed tears and bling.
Is he putting a twist on Nas' concept, or just plain ole biting?

DJ Drama has confirmed that he's working on the third installment of his Dedication mixtape series with Lil Wayne. Wayne is the current mixtape king, and his best work is considered to be the Dedication series so there will be huge anticipation. One of the things I love about hip hop music, is that at least once a year everyone and their mothers jump on the same beat and try to rip it. It's competition driven, but without all of the nasty negativity and drama. I thought it would be cool to compile all the A Milli "freestyles" I could find.
