And I mean "Super Funny" if youre into that whole Judd Apatow-man-child-comedy-schtick thing. I personally find this to be F'ing hilarious... So hilarious that I'm actually considering going to see "Step Brothers" now. Farrell's track records with movies are a little spotty (hated Talledega Nights, Blades Of Glory, and Anchorman).
This video won me over with the title alone, Boats N Hoez...Somewhere Lil Jon is watching this and suddenly feels inspired.
I am convinced Lil Jon and Maury Povich have teamed up to destroy the African American race. The rumored first single on Jon's new album "Crunk Rock" is titled "Dat Baby" and heavily features audio used from "The Maury Povich Show". As you may or may not know, Maury is known for featuring paternity tests, providing some of the cheapest entertainment known to man.

My prayers have been answered. Just yesterday when I posted the song for Dat Baby here , I theorized on what a potential music video would look like, along with moggers Troy Powers & Sterfish. The stars aligned overnight, and the music gods delivered the video just one day later. (Actually, the video was released on Monday, but we can pretend the music gods delivered it today).

Read A Book was probably the first positive thing I've seen on BET in years, but it seems as if everyone didn't share the same sentiment.
Several media outlets and popular figures, most notable The New York Times and Jesse Jackson, blasted BET's satirical Read A Book music video. Read A Book is a heavy handed approach to telling the youth of America that they are valuing the wrong things in life. Instead of coveting cars, rims, sex, and bling, the song screams for the hip h... MORE

Lil Jon was one of the most popular figures in hip hop after his latest album "Crunk Juice", so where has been and why has it taken 4 years to release a follow up? MTV caught up with the producer and he says although he hasn't released an album, he's definitely been around.
"Of course you're gonna miss being on that stage, having that record out," said Jon, who has been keeping busy DJing in clubs. "But I'm on the Pitbull record ['The Anthem'], which is all over the clubs ... MORE

This is the kind of shit that makes people say hip hop is dead. But fuck that, it's alive and well. Hip hop was originally envisioned by people like Kool Herc and Afrika Bambaataa as music for people to release tenison to. The idea was for people to get down on the dance floor instead of brawling. And with that in mind, how is this not 'real' hip hop? The video is great too. I never seen it until they were playing it at the bar I was at a couple hours ago. "You can... MORE
