This morning I did something I do not usually do on a Sunday and that was make the 40 minute trip over to my parents for breakfast. Sundays usually mean time spent in my pajamas around the house doing as little as possible. Thank all of you that commented and sent e-mails about my loss of Dudley. This really does seem like a community of friends, and all your kind words and your dog stories brought me immense comfort. I bought a footlocker, which served as his coffin, and buried him today. In honor of all of our hours in front of our fireplace, I had this song playing at the gravesite after we lowered him down.
