I was late to the Led Zeppelin party. In chronological terms, I was early. I snapped up their first album, and saw them open for B.B. King in Central Park, and if my brain cells haven't completely fried, I believe I caught them at the Fillmore East as well. But really, I didn't quite get it. They didn't seem as good as The Yardbirds ("Having A Rave Up" was a sacred text to me and my fellow rock fans), and the whole premise for Led Zep sounded lifted lock, stock and bar... MORE
