I just discovered that instead of Mastodon opening for Metallica this fall in the states like I originally thought, it is Lamb of God. I am a little peeved. I suppose it's not a complete loss, as Metallica will still be there, and Lamb of God is not terrible, but they're just not my kind of metal. Blast.
