Love this song. LZ was the first all female band that I remember liking...and being scared to death of! Girls didn't dress...or talk like this in Ohio! I saw th em live for the first time on one of the traveling Lollapalooza tours....right after Bricks Are Heavy was released I think...I was impressed, and like i said a little frightened!
And now I see Donita Sparks of L7 is opening up on the latest Donnas tour...a nice little passing of the torch...

This band came into my world during the same time as Nirvana & all the other grungy delights via the Sub Pop label. "Shove", naturally speaking, is my most favourite one from them. Such attitude set to some sludgey guitars & loose rhythms. The perfect anthem for a two-finger salute...
