Yeah, Ole Johnny Cash had the hit, but Kris really nailed it on the austin sessions. I know, he's off key, n slurry....but that's the appeal. Saw George Jones and Kris Kristofferson at Carnegie Hall the other night. Great way to spend Hallowe'en in NYC. Kris was really great. So honest and such beautifully raw music. Felt like you were listening to him in a friend's living room. Very moving. I am a George Jones fanatic but I gotta say I was a bit disappointed in the Branson-esque quality of the show.
