UK's rockin ravers will perform with Rihanna at the Brit Awards Wednesday 20 February. The Klaxons will perform their own unique version of Rihanna's most well-known hit "Umbrella." The band told BBC Radio 1:

"We’ve made our own slant on a contemporary version of it. It’s an electronic version with guitars on it, with a twist of ‘Golden Skans’."

As previously reported, London based rockers Klaxons took the the Mercury Prize - awarded the best British or Irish album of the preceding year- and the results are a boost in sales of some 486% the day after the ceremony, the BBC reports. So…3 days at Reading; Although I live in London, it’s a easy commute for me, less than a hour each way. I had put money on the Klaxons winning the Mercury Prize, I'd be a few quid richer now. Dammit! I mentioned in a previous post that they might win and they did tonight (though I'd love to have seen it go to Fionn Regan).
