I don't know where things went wrong for KoD, but they should have become one of the biggest bands of their day. They had the songs, they had the sound, where did it go wrong? They are like the more rocked out younger brothers of the Cocteau Twins. For anyone looking for a slighty edgier dream pop sound.
I don't remember when I first heard this song. I seem to recall it being played on 970 AM (The Beat) here in Portland. My first reaction was, "Who is this?" I don't really know a lot about Kitchens of Distinction, however, there was a time when "The Death of Cool" ruled my CD player.
