The Immorality of Taxpayer Funded Abortion, R'N'R 'N' Paulitics...

Healthcare continues to dominate the agenda on Capitol Hill as House leadership and the administration try to ram through their big government healthcare plan. Fortunately, they have been unsuccessful so far, as there are many horrifying provisions tucked into this massive piece of legislation. One major issue is the public funding of elective abortions. The administration has already remove...

When I was in my early 20’s, the band that meant more to me than any other was King’s X. I remember the first time I saw the video for It’s Love, it was in my best friend Ryan’s basement, he had MTV, and we were always watching it, that was when they still played videos… Ryan bought the tape a little while later, the Faith, Hope, and Love album, and we listened to it and it was too much

King's X is one of those bands for whom I will gladly, faithfully pick up each and every record. *Ogre Tones* is "big rock sound" production outing, and melodically, the band is in top form. A few reviews that I've come across have praised the band for leaving their difficult, experimental phase. But, see, I liked that phase, especially *Manic Moonlight*. This record, after several passes, does...

here comes...

I believe this song is one of their basic tune. Yeah, changed a bit from their early stuff, but still love this attitude. I somehow do not get into albums like "Maniac Moonlight", "Please...", mid-period. But I think "Alone" from Orge Tones they just look up where they used to be. What do you think?

#3: What's your theme song?

Time for a little introspection here, fellow MOGgers. Since we're all so open these days (and isn't it great, by the way?) I thought I'd pose a hard question. At least, it was a hard one for me. I don't have any guidelines in mind on this, but here's the thought: is there a song out there that sums you up? Maybe you as a person, or one aspect of you? Or in some way touches a deep chord of...

Yeah, King's X! - I like Names With X in Them

I don't listen to a lot of heavy metal, but I've always loved King's X. Their typical tunes have very cool chord progressions and they craft great tunes. Cool CD cover too. This one I'm sharing today is NOT typical of their work, but it's a great track that you don't have to be a head banger or into heavy metal to enjoy. Give it a try- you know you want to.

This one's for Chris

If you saw this, then you already know that our friend Chris has had a bad patch of it recently. A lot of us have poured sympathy and positive vibes his way, but I wanted to keep it going. I don't know if the lyrics to this song completely match what he's going through and what he's feeling, but based on his statements I thought they might, at least in part, serve to put in music what seems t...
