We have all been in the position of buying music; it's what brought us all to this magical place called MOG. I do not think we actively try and purchase "bad" records, yet it happens every now and then. I prefer to be pleasantly surprised with an album, not having much hope for it and then being rewarded with something special. What happens when you listen to an album expecting the worse, and then the badness of it completely blows you away? I was lucky (or unlucky) enough... MORE

In what could have been a brief 15 seconds of fame, it looks like Kevin Federline is trying his best to stretch out his time in the spotlight. After a poor showing from his first album, and less than respectable reviews, he is still around. Metacritic has a handy updating compendium of various 2006 Top 10 lists. Use it for what year-end lists are good for: seeing if there's something that you missed but should check out.
By the way, Metacritic's distillation of Fed-Ex reviews is extremely funny reading. Among the generous ones: "In general, Federline enunciates well." "Federline's rhyme flow is the opposite of tight." "Now that Britney has dumped him, all he has is his music. Ouch."

This was one of the most hilarious costumes I saw out this past weekend... Kevin Federline (aka Mr. Britney Spears) and his posse. When I asked him where Britney was, he said something silly like "at home takin' care of the babies" These guys were also passing out flyers letting you know when is album "drops." Bahahaha....

Am I the only guy to grab an illicit copy of "Playing With Fire" just because Kevin Federline's in the news today? Probably. I thought it might generate a little sympathy, knowing his back story, which at this point is "guy hits lottery, and decides to record that rap album that every 22 year old male has cooking around in the back of his mind, but then can't keep it together".
