Keith Jarrett (born May 8 1945 in Allentown, Pennsylvania) is an American pianist and composer. He is ethnically Hungarian although his grandmother was Puerto Rican. His career started with Art Blakey, Charles Lloyd and Miles Davis. Jarrett starts this in a mysterious sounding harmonic area, and Garbarek joins and starts to drift with him through this foggy territory a minute later.
