A sunshiny break-up song that I can dance to. I've listened to this song 18 times more than you today. I can't help it: cuss words, biting cynicism, jangly piano, hand claps, the hypnotic accent. Wow, so yeah I've seen this girl around on Stereogum and the like but for some reason never really took the time to check her out. Well I heard Foundations today and it completely blew me away, she reminds me a lot of Lily Allen, except I actually like her music. Just Kidding Lily Fans. So I make no secret of the fact that one of my favorite places to enjoy music is in my car, Towanda. I'm still getting hell for that last post, nevertheless, this "artist on the rise" Kate Nash is quite wonderful--even if she is a Lily Allen clone of sorts. Her music is quite fetching, IMO. =)

I listened like a week ago a song by Kate Nash. I'd never heard a thing about her 'til that moment. Surfing the Internet... "Foundations" was the title of the song that I found. "Ok", I said, "let's go". I clicked the link and there it was. A really lovely sound.
I read that someone said that she's a new Lilly Allen. I don't think so. Each singer is just him/herself. There aren't two identical ones.
