This is a cool cover from Kate Nash at Coachella for some radio. Shes got an interesting take on it, the guitar needs some work though.....
Edit: Better now?:) I don't really like Kate Nash very much, but the lyrics to this song are very relatable. All I know is that you're so nice,You're the nicest thing I've seen.I wish that we could give it a go,See if we could be something. The Black Kids are unstoppable. lol. Right now I'm so digging Kate Nash's Black Kids cover (loooong title right up there!) and she's also unstoppable herself! I already forgot where I got this track but I hope you'll enjoy it. :D
The lovely Kate Nash recently visited the Spinner studio in NYC and performed a series of songs acoustically. But instead of piano, she played an acoustic guitar. During her visit, she played 'Mariella,' 'Birds' and 'Foundations.' You can watch video of it here, jump over to Spinner.com to see some beautiful glossy photos of the sweet singer.
..apparently I dance like I'm "on smack". Not sure whether that is a good thing or a bad thing really...
Kate Nash and Billy Bragg are headed for a "small studio" to record "Give Him A Great Big Kiss"! It's a cover of the The Shangri-Las tune, but Nash insists everything is low-key:
Just record it quite casually so people can have it. Not a big release or anything - just release it on a white label.More at NME.com Kate and Billy charmed audiences at the NME Awards and SXSW this year with performances like this one: "Foundation / New England" at NME 2008:
