I really would like to describe the whole feeling i get('when i look to the west'?) when i listen to this song..but it won't be much enough. Let me describe you some pictures that come on my head though. Smoke, blood, men voices calling for help...it's war time. Everything's messed up and as the song continues, everything gets worse. The drums have started, the quitarist nods at the drummer and starts playing. Voices..it's a war..the tempo suddenly changes. It goes faste... MORE

Okay, so this year is looking spectacular!! Oasis is working on their 7th album....so I hear.....DCFC is releasing a new album in the spring....I think that's right....The Verve are back together....right? I left the venue shaking. Testiment to how good the gig was the boys released 2 x live tracks "Empire" & "Processed Beats". Just so happens I also recorded "Empire" on my phone. I was at T in the Park on Sunday. First time at a festival and although I didn't manage to get weekend tickets and do the whole "camping in the mud" thing, it was still an excellent day. I saw various bands throughout the day, but the main stand out was Kasabian. If ever there was a band created to perform at festivals it was these guys. They know how to get a crowd going. Even if you only knew one of their songs you could still bounce along chanting the anthemic chorus... MORE

Pardon my bragging.
My MOG post 9/1/06 - "Me Plus One should be a likely single but Apnoea deserves to be just for it’s demolishing drum beat."
NME yesterday - Kasabian have confirmed the next single to be taken from their second album 'Empire'.
The band will release 'Me Plus One' on January 29 next year.
So, pardon me and allow me to bask in the glory of my rightness. (I'm married so it's the only time I'm right about anything.)

Kasabian @ the Paradise2006.09.17 I’ve never been to the Paradise before… so I was quite surprised at how intimate (read “small and cozy”) the venue was. To say I was right in front of the stage is an understatement. I had to move in order for the roadies to adjust the band’s equipment! But I love seeing bands like this.
