Trends may come and go, but you can always count on KMFDM to unleash a new album's worth of hate-heavy industrial tunes every few years. Twenty-one years after their initial formation, the German group still has no problem unleashing the venom against electro beats, as evidenced by 2005's Hau Ruck. With tracks that can be compared to such renowned industrial names as Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, and Rammstein, it's understandable for the uninitiated to assume that KMFDM is just following in the footsteps of others. But the truth is that they've been around longer than those aforementioned acts (or in Ministry's case, just as long). KMFDM continue to supply the perfect soundtrack for a futuristic action-adventure movie, as evidenced by such tracks as "Free Your Hate," "New American Century," and "Mini Mini Mini." Hau Ruck is further proof that KMFDM is the industrial AC/DC -- they continue to crank out album after album, while not giving a thought as to what's pumping out of radio or MTV at the moment.
