Long time no post, but I'm back; I've experienced a few life-changing things during my absence, such as moving to a new state for a new job, and I'm happier than I've ever been. During this span, a song that has really kept me company has been "Closer"...it speaks to me in a way that only few songs do.

Today is my favorite holiday!!! yes friday the 13th rocks my socks so hardcore.... and the best part of all??? ITS COMES MORE THAN ONCE A YEAR!!!! its better than super bowl, which yes is a holiday, and christmas! i have about 15 more minutes to bask in the greatness that is friday the 13th and i'm totally spending it listening to the wonderful combo that is Joshua Radin and Schuyler Fisk... pure bliss! happy spooking!!!!

So I said I was ready to quit smoking. That doesn't seem to be the case. Ok, here's a dilemma. I would assume that most of the people on this site would agree that it's hard to keep up with all of the music that you want to listen to again, for the first time, or right at that very moment! What about playlists ?!? I can never make a playlist that is as short or focused as one would assume a playlist would be. Ok, this is my first post on here and since I'm not really a "blogger", I hope it's not a total waste. I just wanted to throw out a tip for music lovers: Scrubs is not only a great TV show, but it's a great source for new music. I think Zach Braff is probably the force behind the music on the show (since it's very similar to his excellent soundtrack for Garden State). I was just watching an episode of Scrubs, from the fourth season, and the most amazing song came on, after some searching I found out it was Joshua Radin's Closer. I have officially fallen in love with this song! It's so simple but pretty and somehow manages to comfort me even though I didn't think I needed comforting. I don't believe he has a MOG, so to sample his music head over to http://www.myspace.com/joshuaradin I love his album "We Were Here" He looks like such a scruffy man (not in the photo above but in others) but his voice is so soft and soothing. I listen to his cd when i'm going to sleep. But then I can't sleep b/c i start singing along and i'm awake again haha I highly recommend this artist if you like soft, mellow, and amazing.... MORE
