I recently discovered this artist, though I believe he's been around a while. I've only heard 2 of his albums so far and he has been quite prolific over the last few years, so there is much too listen to (looking forward to his tour next month!). Anyway, this song reminded me of a friend, so I wanted to post it. Enjoy.
Josh Rouse is a relative unknown but nonetheless is a quality songwriter and musician. If you've ever heard his music, you'd know that his style will keep you hooked through the whole album. His lyrics are always interesting and the music never fails.
Personally, I prefer 1972, his album in which he leans toward a more vintage sound. His other two albums, SubtÃtulo and Nashville are also great. Check him out.

The artists on The Program this week were both new to me: Josh Rouse and Elbow. I immediately had problems with Elbow. It might have had something to do with the weather, but Elbow immediately struck me wrong from the first listen. I got over it, in spades actually, but that is another story for another time.
