Most people who know about Jonathan Coulton have heard of him because of his cover of Baby Got Back. His version is well-done, but the folked-out rap song in general is a bit of a gimmick. I like this track of his much better, it comes more from himself and his experience in his former job as a programmer.

Other notable May 1 babies:
- Ray Parker Jr
- John Woo
- Wes Anderson

I was having some issues with my MoM that were hard to reproduce. I tried my hardest to give below all of the information he could need. I'm a software developer myself, and I know how frustrating it... MORE
Here's a sample of one of the artists mentioned in the list above. Funny and soul-achingly tuneful. His voice could melt ice.
Anyway, he's touring again in the spring. You can catch him at Schubas in Chicago in May, with Paul and Storm opening for him. Here's his site.
I assume pretty much everyone here has heard about Jonathan Coulton. If not, let me enlighten you: A bit more than a year a go, he started a project called "Thing A Week" - his plan was to release a self-written and -performed song every week for the next year. About 2 weeks ago, he released the last song - a mix of Queen's "We Are The Champions" and "We Will Rock You". The resulting album is one of the most fascinating things I ever listened to. He spans pretty much ev... MORE
