So I keep seeing the Jolie Holland contest advertised on here and I keep saying that I'm going to give some of her songs a listen. I finally did today and, I must admit, I'm quite impressed. Her voice is really unique sounding... smooth and twangy at the same time... (You should know that I'm going through a twangy phase right now. I hope that doesn't detract from my credibility.)
