All Music GuideIn 1981, all three of these Sun Records alumni were touring Europe. Both with the night off, Lewis and Perkins attended a Johnny Cash concert in Stuttgart, West Germany. Called out onstage for the second half of the program, the three sang together on old gospel favorites, with each of them doing a turn singing one or two of their big hits. It's all very loose and much fun, with the grizzled vets going at it together on everything from "That Silver Haired Daddy of Mine" to the closing "I Saw the Light," with stops for "Blue Suede Shoes," "Whole Lotta Shakin' Going On," and "Get Rhythm" in between. A fun and spirited get-together.
