All Music GuideThis live album showcases a charming set by John Sebastian in July of 1970. Although the album is not mind blowing in sonic genius, and the audience isn't going wild with maddening enthusiasm, this record has a certain charm. Sebastian runs through a couple of his solo "hits" and Lovin' Spoonful songs in this acoustic set. Although this album is certainly not the first place to start to understand John Sebastian's songwriting, this certainly isn't a bad purchase for fans of the artist's solo work. [Note: This was an unauthorized release disavowed by Sebastian and subsequently withdrawn].
